“Argent Rose” is part of the Elements of Touch series by Visual Artist Grey Cross.   It is a rumpled canvas, 2′ x 4′  with a wooden backing. It uses metallic and primary acrylics, real roses, a silver gilt fleur de lis and fabric as its primary mediums. It has a cracked glass border.

Grey Cross’s “Elements of Touch” series embodies the artists need to create art that is not only seen but allows for the viewer to reach out and make the art real through touch. He believes that art hidden behind displays cases is only allowing the viewer to satisfy one of their senses but that art can satisfy all the senses. Utilizing mixed media such as painting, sculpture, and photography in his pieces he creates a potent blend of art that is sure to spark the imagination of the viewers.
